This area of Southern Orion contains large complexes of not only bright red emission nebulae, but also much fainter blue reflection nebulae.

This is a total of 12.7 hours of exposure from mag 20.5 skies that was shot with an 85mm lens on the end of my counterweight shaft while I was shooting other deep-sky objects with my 5-inch refractor. I’ve had the data in my files for a while and finally got around to processing it.
